Industrial Door Automation
Loading bays, factory halls and warehouses use spring-balanced sectional doors or industrial rolling doors. A torque-rated operator mounts directly on the torsion shaft (or on a backplate with chain drive) and raises the balanced door.
Requirements
What the automation has to do
- Deliver the torque the door needs at the shaft, with the door correctly spring-balanced.
- Stop repeatably at open and closed positions through thousands of cycles.
- Run on the site supply — single-phase, three-phase or low-voltage DC.
- Be operable by hand chain when power is off.

- Door size, weight and drum diameter
- Torsion shaft diameter and free length beside the drum
- Supply: 220 V single-phase, 380 V three-phase, or DC via BLDC controller

Which torque rating do I need?
Torque depends on door weight, drum radius and balance. Send door dimensions and weight to engineering, or use the rule-of-thumb in the category selection guide; Rollvento drives span 30 N·m (GK30) to 150 N·m (INDUS150).
Mechanical or electronic limits?
Mechanical cam limits (AC series) are robust and simple. Electronic limits (E series) use an encoder for precise, easily re-programmed stopping and suit high-cycle doors.
